Colorado Kids Create has joined with the Estes Park Western Heritage Foundation as one of its 2017 Partners for Western Heritage.  In this partnership for 2017, the Western Heritage Foundation will contribute to our campaign for strengthening art education and student participation in the arts throughout Colorado.  As part of this partnership, Colorado Kids Create will receive twenty percent (20%) of the price of any original artwork that is purchased in the main gallery at the Windows to the West Art Show & Sale,  https://windowswestart.com/ June 2-4, 2017, using the CKC Partner Certificate (provided below).   In addition, all our supporters – board members, sponsors, volunteers, teachers, students and their families—are invited to a Western art education program, June 3rd, at the art show.  The education program will introduce Western fine art in different media, subjects and techniques, featuring expert presentations, artist demonstrations, and audience participation.  The winning artwork in our 2017 competition also will be presented at the Windows to the West show, highlighting Colorado Kids Create and celebrating all the participating students and their teachers.

For our part, we ask you to support this component of our campaign to provide scholarships for student involvement next year in our new 2018 NoCo Visual Arts Camp to be held at Sylvan Dale Guest Ranch the week preceding next year’s Windows to the West Art Show & Sale.  Plan on attending the art show and the education program, Saturday, June 3.  Save our CKC Partner Certificate, and when you fall in love with a piece of art at the art show, provide the Certificate at time of purchase knowing that then 20% of the artwork price will be contributed to Colorado Kids Create.

The Estes Park Western Heritage Foundation sponsors the Windows to the West Art Show & Sale as a major fundraising event to support its mission “to preserve and promote the Western heritage of Estes Valley in art, education and culture.”  The art show, with 50 top artists and 200 Western artworks, is June 2-4 at the Estes Park Events Complex—follow the show’s website (WindowsWestArt.com) for program information and updates.
